Well, look I'm still alive but unfortunately my computer and motivation is not. I was almost finished Neko Love chapter 24 but I lost it when my computer crashed. Which means i have to start all over again. Not got much motivation to do that anytime soon so updates will be almost zilch. I want to finish the story but with no PC and my work/life being hectic I don't want to focus on too much.

I'm using my boyfriends computer at the moment and the keyboard really annoys me, it's so noisy! I feel like I'm using a typewriter! I'm working on my fanart as that's easy enough to use but stories are put on hold for a while. Maybe at Christmas time I'll have enough quiet and free time to try remembering where I was going. I've got the plot line written down somewhere but in my mess of an apartment I've no idea where it is.

I've finished chapter 23 of Neko Love and it's currently  being Beta'd by my kind volunteer Okami.

Also finished the next chapter of the Prince and the Sorceress. Which is also being beta'd but by Cereza.

I've still to post the updated versions of my stories on my website but it's more work than doing it on ffnet and mediaminer. My attention span doesn't last long enough to include the newer versions just yet. (I have to work with the html coding and it can be a pain.)

But I've also got a few submitted works needed uploaded on my site. I've been busy with my new job and real life. Been working on a new fanart picture for you all to view. I've posted a sketch on my deviant art profile under the scraps. It should be good, already half way inked I just need to finish the inking and scan and colour.

May post a clip of it in my webjournal if it comes out like I'm imagining. Should be hot!

Finally!

After months of searching I got a new job! The good thing is that I'm left on my own for a hours with nothing else to do but answer the phone. Which is great because the phone never rings! So I'vestarted writing up my stories on their computer.

The only problem with that is the way it's saved by Word. Curse that word processor programme. I swear it's grammar's worse than mine! I've caught it a few times auto-correcting stuff in a way that makes no sense! I've switched it off but it still does the green underline to me.

New chapters should be coming along soon. Neko Love is still work in progress but I have 1500 words done on chapter 23. Vegeta's Tail well that's pretty much finished so I've lost all drive with that.

I suppose I best update my ffnet version that's a few chapters behind. It's just going to be a pain editing out all the sex. The chapter with the lemon is going to have to be cut to 1000 words by the looks of it.

My next projects seem to be coming along fine. I just can't work on one thing at a time. I get bored easily so I have to shift my interests into different things. Thankfully it's keeping me busy, I'd be completly bored in my new job if I didn't have my writing.

Next Update I'll aim for the 17th of April. I've got some submitted work to put up. And I have to add my revised versions of Prince and the Sorceress thanks to my new Beta who is already on Chapter 4!

You know the best thing to get inspiration from?

Other writers. That's right I've found a forum that is filled with other DBZ fanfiction writers. A lot of them are out of my league. I admit my writing skills are never brilliant but heh, I just do this for my own enjoyment not to compete.

So apart from learning there are others just as obsessed with B/V's I've found people that actually think indepth about all the characters as well. I know Akira Toriyama mearly meant for Dragonball Z to be a boy's manga that was humourous and action packed. But fans have a habit of looking into things a lot.

Subjects like 'Was Vegeta raped by Freiza?' or 'Where does Chi Chi find the money for tutors?'

Y'know silly things that the original creator didn't spend much time musing over but us fans can have a 6 page thread about.

So I guess it's a good thing because it's got me thinking about my work again. It's either that or I watch the same episodes of DBZ over and over again.

Hmm might be a good idea!

I've completed chapter 28 of Vegeta's Tail! I just had an inspiration and I just started writing it!

Hopefully it's up to everyone's standard! Oh and Kerry in my shoutbox! Don't go dying on me! It's only fanfiction and seriously writer's block happens.

I promise to finish my stories, even if it takes me another three months per chapter I will write it that way if my inspiration is dried up.

Got to say Neko Love isn't looking as inspired, I need to rework the rest of my chapter's they've been formatted in a silly way, making beta readers not wanting to touch it.

But hey, I'm getting somewhere. I finally got my new flat set up the way I want and I manage to get some hours peace to myself to write. I have heaps of people round now all the time and somedays I just want them all to F off and leave my room but circumstances being what they are I can't say it. So I'm left sharing a room with someone that has folk round ALL the time.

Talk about distractions!

I'll take advantage of this quiet time now and go back to writing! See you all soon!

Gone on Hiatus for a number of reasons.

1) I have writers block, it isn't pretty and is making me frustrated beyond belief.

2) I now have a Beta reader for Neko Love, Doc Emmit Brown is being brave and taking on my stories. Any time I'll be spending on my stories will most likely be rewriting them to make them grammatically correct and go over any other error's that he's spotted.

3) Got personal problems, yes real life is being a bitch and distracting me from writing further. I plan on quitting my current sucky job and moving up to the big city. That's the jist of it but there's more complicated things that I don't want to go into online.

4) I'm starting to not enjoy writing. I only write because I like doing it. When it becomes a chore it's taking all the fun out of that. It's mainly Vegeta's Tail that feels like that. I feel like I've finished it and I want to just end it. But then I have other things I want to add...

Uggh! It is frustrating and I want to finish my stories because I don't like to read stories half way through and having the writer just give up! I'm not going to do that. I still love my stories and I want the happy ever after, or something close to it.

Okay I'll admit it.

I've got a serious case of writer's block. I know where I want to go with my stories but I'm having trouble figuring out how to fill it in as I go along. And the usual way I cure it isn't working, as in I'd read writer's that are better than me (or worse) to get inspiration.

But I think I have a plan.

I'm not going to force myself because that will make things worse. I'm going to take a small break. It's not a major hiatus but it's likely I'm not going to have my stories updated by the 8th. Why is the 8th so important? Because I'm going on holiday then and I'll definatly be unable to write stories.

That's part one of the 'Master Plan'

Part two is to find a Beta reader.

For anyone that doesn't know, a Beta reader is someone that edit's your stories, helps with idea's and generally tells you if there's any faults.

So Here's my official plea for a Beta Reader!

Help I need somebody, not just anybody, take a look at the stats...

Stories Needing Beta'd:

Most important one's Neko Love, an R rated  Ranma 1/2 story and also Vegeta's Tail, NC-17.

Second important, The Prince and the Sorceress, PG-13, DBZ

The story I just do for fun, Akane the D*minatrix, definite NC-17 with S+M and all sorts of kink.

Finished but could probably do with being Beta'd really not important at all, Bulma's Tail, NC-17

Problems I have:

I'm dyslexic so I need some help with my grammar and spelling because a spell checker is not infalliable and sometimes I can get character's names wrong. (Mousse being a prime example) I also write in UK English so an understanding of the difference's would be an advantage. I don't want to be corrected for spelling colour wrong.

I don't need whoever is willing to volunteer to take on them all, if you just want to Beta one that's fine. Pick a story and volunteer, I'd love to hear from you.

All the stories are work in Progress but have at least 20 chapters to the most important. 

Um, also I'd like the Beta to be mature (and when I say mature I just mean round about the same age as me. I would never call myself mature.)

Must have a sense of humour and know about the fandom either Dragonball Z or Ranma. Whichever one you wish to beta for. You must have some free time to dedicate yourself to helping me 'sort out' my stories.

Not Essential but preferred.

Experience, if you've Beta'd before then it would be a big help. As I don't want to tell someone how to do their job. Also know how to use the red ink or bold to highlight any changes.

If you have a different method then tell me and use that.

If you've read my stories before and liked them.

Also you have to be able to handle the sudden bouts of Chibi Vegeta that takes over me.

Mz D: I mean the sudden way I change to script format when I'm writing Author's notes.

If this had happened at any other time of the month I would have laughed it off as inevitable (because my stories were against the rules.)

But the deletion of my first fanfic has annoyed me....A LOT!

There's also the few flame reviews I recieved from Vegeta's Tail when I posted that one-off chapter to tell everyone what's been going on. They hadn't even read my stories and felt the need to lable them sh*t because of the lemon content.

I'm sorry but I believe my stories actually have a bit more plot than a pointless porn.

I may be a pervert and I accept that fact and embrace it But I actually do have standards and respect everyone's opinion. I may not agree but I still don't throw insults at that person for not thinking the same as me!

Which is why I'm angry, it's not ffnet because it was against the rules. It's the people that feel the need to critise before they read that get my blood boiling!

There I feel better now...
